Accessibility Resource Center
The Accessibility Resource Center (ARC) is a tool for the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC) faculty, staff, and students to access a wide range of accessibility topics for creating digital content that aligns with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards. The ARC works in accordance with UAGC’s Culture of Care, fostering a diverse, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all by promoting and supporting digital accessibility and Universal Design.
Why is accessibility important?
It’s the right thing to do. The web provides access, information, and opportunity to many people. It is only right that everyone can participate in and navigate web content—and our community fosters inclusivity.
It’s our goal.
In accordance with our commitment to the UAGC Culture of Care and to foster a diverse, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all, UAGC looks to the WCAG AA 2.1 and beyond for guidance in meeting university accessibility commitments.
Your part.
We all contribute to how we think about accessibility, and we can all create a more inclusive UAGC. Everyone should be able to participate, and that means accessibility is our shared responsibility. We encourage you to use the accessibility help tools on this site and incorporate them into your daily tasks.
