The University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC) is approved as a State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (SARA) participating institution by the Arizona SARA Council. SARA is a national initiative that helps expand students’ access to educational opportunities and ensure more efficient, consistent, and effective regulation of distance education programs. The table below provides the university’s determination regarding whether the Post Baccalaureate Teaching Certificate program will meet professional teacher licensure requirements in each of the states.
The Post Baccalaureate Teaching Certificate program is currently open to Arizona and Florida residents only. It is not eligible for Title IV, VA or Tuition Assistance funding. Students who successfully complete all Post Baccalaureate Teaching Certificate program requirements and are US citizens can earn Florida Professional Teacher Certification in one of forty-two subject areas (valid for five (5) years, with a full Florida Reading Endorsement Certificate).
Program completers who earn Florida Professional Teacher Certification and are interested in reciprocity must research reciprocity requirements according to the NASDTEC interstate agreements. The UAGC Department of Education Studies (DES) can provide support in this process but ultimately, the program completer is responsible for completing the reciprocity licensure process.

This program ceased accepting new enrollments in 2018. The table below provides the university’s determination regarding whether the Doctor of Psychology, Clinical Specialization program will meet Licensed Psychologist educational requirements in each of the states.
The Clinical Specialization in the Doctor of Psychology program is not accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) or registered with the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB), which is a requirement for licensure in some states. Other factors, such as a student’s criminal history, may prevent an applicant from obtaining licensure or employment in this field of study. All prospective students are advised to contact individual state boards of psychology for additional information relating to licensure requirements.
