Not Your Typical School,
Not Your Typical Students
One of the University of Arizona Global Campus strengths is that we aren’t what many people would consider a “typical university.” At Global Campus, you won’t find any ivy-covered halls filled with students who’ve just graduated from high school. Instead, the Global Campus convenient online format, flexible class schedules, and relevant degree programs have made higher education accessible to a wide range of students who don’t fit the mold of a “typical college student.” On this page, you’ll find detailed information about student demographics and learning outcomes. Due to the non-traditional academic calendar associated with most of our student population, the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC) enrollment can be measured in a number of different ways. In addition, UAGC enrollment will vary dependent upon the week that enrollment is measured. Unlike many institutions that take a snapshot of student enrollment at the end of the first two weeks of the fall semester, Global Campus enrollment enrollment is likely to change each week, depending on the number of weekly new student enrollments, withdrawn students who chose to re-enroll and continue their studies, students who withdraw, and students who graduate.
In this section, student enrollment characteristics are shown from Fall 2012 - Fall 2017.
