Biography

Dr. Amr Elchouemi is a core faculty at the Forbes School of Business & Technology at the University of Arizona Global Campus where he is currently designing the computer science and technology curriculum. Dr. Elchouemi has extensive experience in computing and information technology in business and technology sectors where he has worked for organizations such as Intel, AMD, Hewlett Packard, and academics.

Dr. Elchouemi holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, a Master of Science in Computer Science from Alexandria University, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Alexandria University.

His areas of research and experience include high speed networking, computer architecture, microprocessor verification, software testing, and software engineering.

Dr. Elchouemi lives in Austin with his wife and two boys, and he enjoys playing tennis.
