Ashley Johansen, PhD

Ashley Johansen is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the Forbes School of Business and Technology® at the University of Arizona Global Campus. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, a Master of Accountancy, and a PhD in Business Management with a specialization in Accounting. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

Ashley’s professional background includes accounting and financial reporting for non-profit higher education institutions, conducting ERISA and financial statement audits, and handling tax compilation in both regional and private accounting firms. Her journey into academia began in 2011, where she found her passion for teaching accounting and fostering an engaging learning environment for her students.
