David MacKusick

Biography
David MacKusick is a faculty member in the Global College of Professional Advancement at the University of Arizona Global Campus.
He and his wife live in the mountains of Western North Carolina, where they enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and canoeing. Originally from the Midwest, David enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps after high school. When his enlistment ended in 1987, he began working for Northwest Airlines as an aircraft mechanic. While working full time, he returned to school and earned a degree in Accounting from Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia, followed by a law degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
During his legal career, David has worked as a prosecutor, public defender, attorney for the IRS, and in private practice.
He has been teaching online for 13 years at UAGC and other universities and enjoys interacting with students and sharing experiences. David says he learns a great deal from his students and hopes they, in turn, learn a few things from him as well.
