Justin Harrison, PhD

Justin Harrison currently serves as the Dean for the Division of Foundational Studies within the Global College of Integrative Learning at the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC). He supports oversight of the high-enrollment general education courses at the institution. In addition, the Division focuses on developing educational pathways into the University of Arizona by creating new programmatic offerings, certificates, and educational content that enhance growth and educational opportunities for all learners—while improving student success outcomes.

Prior to joining UAGC, Justin served as the Dean of Online Education at West Coast University, a position that oversaw online education and operations primarily in nursing and healthcare-related programs. He has also held positions as faculty, program chair of Liberal Arts and General Education programs, Associate Dean, Director of First-Year Experience, and Executive Dean.

Justin believes that education has the power to transform people’s lives, guide better decision-making, and ultimately provide more opportunities for personal and career development. Through his leadership, he works to foster the liberating power of learning in students’ lives.
