Being part of this learning format and working directly with other colleagues and students is an exciting and rewarding process.”
As a lifelong learner and educator, Dr. Maxwell especially enjoys the online interaction as students share what they gained from another peer or class interaction and how that process changed their behavior, provided new insight, or increased confidence in their own skills. Denise has a passion for teacher preparation and leadership development. She takes tremendous pride in the role she has had in the development of principals, educators, and students during her career. A guiding principle that has directed Denise during her career is that the leader serves as a coach to empower others to be successful. Building the capacity of teachers and educational leaders is a mission for Denise in her role as a Lead Faculty member.
