Culture of Care Summit - Day 2

Supporting a Culture of Care with Anti-Oppressive Pedagogies

Collegiality – Together, Everyone Achieves More
Return to CoC Summit

Anti-oppressive pedagogies support a Culture of Care in both the classroom and the workplace by challenging systems of oppression and promoting transformative learning in the direction of greater social justice. This presentation will provide an overview of how we can use anti-oppressive practices to engage productively with conflict, address power imbalances, take ownership of our own learning and development, and promote transformative change in our classrooms, workplaces, and communities. Session participants will be provided with additional resources to support their ongoing development and reflective practices.
