We SupportU: Foster a Culture of Care by Empowering your Students with Writing and Research Resources

In this session, members of the learning support team will showcase our methods of supporting faculty in fostering a Culture of Care at UAGC. Attendees will learn how to leverage embedded writing and research resources in the curriculum, course announcements, and outreach to support nontraditional student outcomes, foster an equitable online environment, and cultivate a Culture of Care. Instructors have a lot on their plates, so the learning support team aims to empower faculty with the tools they need to be a bridge for student success. Faculty will learn to empower students by offering our resources through a multitude of delivery methods. Instructors will also gain concrete timesaving strategies to apply immediately in their classrooms to easily support students with their writing and research and foster a Culture of Care.
