In this 25-minute workshop, James Bond and Andre Dodson will cover strategies for fostering a culture of care in managing classroom disruptions, focusing on cross-departmental faculty support. They will discuss the importance of clear communication, effective identification, and documentation of breaches in conduct as per the student handbook to ensure fair and consistent responses. The session will highlight the impact of student behavior, providing faculty with methods to engage students constructively about their actions and encourage positive changes. This workshop promises insights and practical tips for cultivating understanding and collaboration in addressing disruptive behavior.
