You want to earn an education, however you can’t imagine the prospect of clocking in at 9 every morning and out at 5 every afternoon or a day spent chained to a computer, phone, and cubicle.

There are plenty of good prospects that don’t fit the office-computer-time clock model. Here’s a list of five great career-worthy non-office jobs for college graduates.

Summer is usually a time to get outside, enjoy the sunshine, and spend time with family and friends, whether you go to beaches, lakes, reservoirs, and rivers for fun-filled water activities, a visit with relatives, travel, or relax in the comforts of your own home. It may be summertime, but, many people are still in college, which means it is still a bit of a challenge to plan a getaway. That doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun, while also getting through your summer courses. 

The year 2021 is flying by right before our eyes. As we move through spring and look ahead to the summer months, our students are continuing to stay focused in order to reach the goals they set for themselves this year. With hard work, dedication, and positive thinking, they are doing just that. This month’s UAGC #TenacityMade superstars are proof that it is possible to overcome challenges and achieve your aspirations!

The close of summer 2020 is here. It may have been a difficult few months, but thanks to your dedication and perseverance, you and your peers were able to push forward. There is no age limit on taking pride in a job well done, and certainly no limit for accepting accolades from others. As children, we loved when our parents would celebrate our report card, as adults we love to hear the boss offer congratulations on a job well done, and as college students, we love to see our names on the University of Arizona Global Campus Dean’s List.
