Military Admissions Process

Applying to the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC) is simple and quick, and you’ll have support from a Military Enrollment Services Advisor every step of the way. They’ll help you navigate your Tuition Assistance (TA) or Veteran Education benefits, as well as any transfer credit options specific to your military branch.

Steps to apply to UAGC

1. Talk to a Military Advisor

A UAGC Military Enrollment Services Advisor will help you select a program or courses based on your goals and needs.

2. Apply online

Your Military Enrollment Services Advisor will help you complete your online application, or you may complete what you can on your own. It is helpful to be prepared with the payment option you plan to use, your Joint Services Transcript (JST), or any other military training that may be reviewed for credit.

As an active-duty service member, veteran, spouse, or dependent, you may be eligible for military benefits, including the Liberty Grant or Patriot Grant. If you have questions about using your military education benefits at UAGC, contact us at [email protected] or [email protected].

3. Complete the admissions requirements

Once you have submitted your application, your military advisor will walk you through the follow-up steps you need to get started.

4. Get ready for class

Make sure you have access to your Student Portal and are comfortable navigating the online classroom. Your UAGC classes start on Tuesday, but you should make time to log in a day or two early to read notes from your instructor and explore.

Certain degree programs may not be available in all states.

The transferability of credits is subject to the University of Arizona Global Campus transfer credit policies, and requires the submission of official transcripts. The official transcripts will be evaluated to determine the credits that will officially apply toward a University of Arizona Global Campus degree program.
