Biography

Sara McBrydeSara McBryde is an associate instructor at UAGC teaching early childhood education courses. She has a master's degree in Reading Education from Texas Woman’s University and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Texas A&M University. She has experience in preschool and elementary school settings, RTI, and curriculum development. She enjoys teaching and learning about various early childhood education topics.
Dr. Amy JohnsonDr. Amy Johnson is an Associate Professor and the Program Chair for the associate degree in early childhood education at UAGC. She started as an adjunct faculty member in 2011 and moved to full-time in 2018. She earned a PhD in early childhood education and development from Texas Woman’s University, a master’s degree in education curriculum and instruction from Chapman University, and a Bachelor’s in English and creative writing from San Diego State University. Amy has been in education for over 25 years, teaching elementary school before transitioning to higher education.
