Biography

Dr. Joe Cappa is the Project Manager, Academic Innovation, Operations and Technology for the University of Arizona Global Campus. In this role, Dr. Cappa oversees the implementation of key academic initiatives. The goal of the Project Management team is to ensure that all projects align with the university's strategic goals and are executed seamlessly, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of academic programs and services at UAGC. Dr. Cappa has more than 15 years of experience in higher education administration and operations.

Dr. Cappa holds a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification and a Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) Certification from the Project Management Institute. In addition to this experience, Dr. Cappa has been an online faculty member at various institutions for close to 15 years an associate faculty member for the Forbes School of Business and Technology® since 2023. Dr. Cappa holds the belief that learning is an experience rather than a process. The goal is to help the student make the connection between the theoretical and the practical. Dr. Cappa received his Doctorate in Business Administration from Argosy University in 2007.
