They bring with them experiences from their childhoods and the classrooms in which they now observe and teach, and this makes for rich discussions in the courses. In my classes, all members are valued and participate as both teacher and learner. My students have much to contribute to society, and I challenge them to be independent thinkers and active learners, willing to advocate for the children and families they serve.” Dr. Johnson lives in the Ft. Worth, Texas, area. She enjoys rocking babies, traveling, and playing Spicy Uno with her husband and two daughters.
