A well-thought teaching philosophy is characteristic of all great educators. Perhaps even more foundational, though, is possessing a genuine care for students. To some, this is akin to compassionate love. Significant evidence exists to support this teaching approach (Jazaieri, 2018, Karkar Esperat, 2022; Kim, 2017; Tan, 2022) which aligns with the Culture of Care at the University of Arizona Global Campus. Therefore, the purpose of this presentation is to share recommendations for how this approach can be enacted to promote these cultural aspirations.
