Employer Tuition Assistance Programs
If your employer offers benefits, such as tuition assistance or direct bill, you’ll get the help you need from the University of Arizona Global Campus to apply that reimbursement toward your education. Ask your employer to help you achieve your higher education goals.
With a tuition reimbursement plan, your tuition payment is deferred a maximum of 90 days after each course start date, regardless of when you receive disbursement from your employer. You can also choose from a variety of different payment options to fund your degree program:
- Cash Plan
- Direct Bill Plan (Third Party Billing)
- Military Benefits
- Financial Aid

College Credit for Life & Work Experience
Prior Learning Assessment (PLA)
the University of Arizona Global Campus' Prior Learning Assessment team will review the following to see if your experience translates into college credit.
- Work and life experience
- Professional development
- Continuing education
Prior learning can be assessed by providing documentation of training content, hours, and a summarization of learning outcomes and application to a University of Arizona Global Campus program. You may apply up to 30 PLA credits toward degree completion for your Bachelor of Arts program and up to 15 PLA credits toward an Associate of Arts program.
Credits from National Testing Programs & National Credit Recommendation Services
In addition to PLA credits, the University of Arizona Global Campus will assess nontraditional credit earned from:
- Advanced Placement
- International Baccalaureate
