Kimberly Tamares

Counselor

When a Culture of Care is instilled within a company, employees see and feel genuine concern about their well-being, their voices are heard, and they are valued as individuals not just worker bees.

Biography

Kim Tamares has been with UAGC for 11 and a half years, with 5 of those in the Access & Wellness Counselor role. She is a graduate of UC Irvine with a double Bachelor’s in Sociology and Criminology and holds a Master’s in Human Services with an emphasis on Mental Health. To support her love of learning, she is also seeking out further certification in college counseling. Kim truly enjoys getting to know her students and finding that connection with them. Family time is a priority for Kim so during non-work hours, she, her two kids, and husband enjoy being tourists in their hometown of San Diego.
