Biography
Celine Gomes (she/her) joined the Communications and Strategic Engagement team at UAGC in November 2025 as a content developer and quickly immersed herself in the online community. She brings a journalistic lens to her work, capturing and amplifying the stories of students, faculty, and alumni across the institution. A writer since she first picked up a pen, Celine pursued her passion for storytelling at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where she studied English with a concentration in Communications and Rhetoric alongside Women’s and Gender Studies.
Before joining UAGC, Celine worked as a communications specialist at Tufts University School of Engineering, following roles at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University and the Brookline Arts Center, where she served as marketing and content editor. She draws on her East Coast experience to highlight the impact and importance of higher education. Now based in Phoenix, Ariz., Celine spends her free time hiking, creative writing, and organizing creative photoshoots with her partner.
