Hazar Shehadeh, PhD

Dr. Hazar Shehadeh is an Associate Professor in the Global College of Integrative Learning at the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC). She has taught English, ESL, film criticism, linguistics, literature, and humanities courses, supporting undergraduate and graduate learners since 2009. Dr. Shehadeh has served and led multiple academic committees focused on curriculum review, revision, and design, and she has developed and reviewed online and hybrid courses for various institutions. Her research centers on improving minority students’ academic performance and examining instructional methods that enhance student achievement and retention.
