The UAGC Promise - Attend for 3 Weeks Risk-free
How the UAGC Promise Works
The University of Arizona Global Campus provides new degree seeking students the UAGC Promise, which is an opportunity for them to attend UAGC risk-free. Degree seeking students may opt out of their enrollment during the first three weeks of their first course. That means if the following Promise conditions are met, the student may leave with 1) no financial obligation to UAGC, 2) no student loan debt as a result of enrollment at UAGC, and 3) no academic record at the UAGC.
The UAGC Promise conditions are:
If a student cancels their enrollment during the first three weeks of their first degree seeking course, or,
For undergraduate students only, if UAGC establishes that a student does not meet the Basic Academic Requirements (BAR) at the conclusion of the conditional admission period. BAR requires a student to attain a cumulative course grade of C- or better by Day 6 of Week 3 in their first course.
Therefore, during the first three weeks of the student’s first credit-bearing course, UAGC does not certify VA benefits or disburse Federal Financial Aid. For additional information please see the UAGC Catalog. If students do not progress and participate in academic activity during the fourth week of their first course, there are no charges or debt incurred due to a student’s time in the UAGC Promise period.
