Overview
Qualified Tuition Reduction (QTR), Educational Assistance Program (EAP), and Domestic Partner Tuition Program (DPTP) enable eligible active and officially retired employees, their spouses, and qualified dependents, to enroll for classes at reduced tuition rates. Eligibility is defined and approved by the University of Arizona, Arizona State University, and Northern Arizona University.
About UAGC
The academic calendar is continuous (also known as non-term) rather than defined by semesters. In continuously enrolled programs, students typically take one course at a time and move to the next course in the program sequence without a break. Undergraduate courses are typically 5 weeks in length, and graduate courses are typically 6 weeks* in length. Opportunities to enroll in programs and begin courses in a degree program are available frequently throughout the calendar year.
Deadlines
Please work with your respective Human Resources department for QTR, EAP, and DPTP deadlines and eligibility requirements. Eligibility documents must be provided and approved prior to the first course start date to be eligible for the reduced tuition program. You must submit a separate eligibility document for each benefit period (see chart below).
The application window for Qualified Tuition Reduction opens on July 2, 2024.
