As a first-generation degree seeker, Ashford* alum Elizabeth Perdomo readily admits she did things backward when it came to attending college. She met her husband at the age of 20, got married young, and had her first son by the time she was 24. Her daughter was born a few years later and with her hands full, earning a degree wasn’t in Elizabeth’s cards.

Hi again. Natalie, the University of Arizona Global Campus Community Manager here. As promised, here’s another blog to help support you on this wild ride we call “college.” We’ve all experienced bumps in the road to graduation, but I’m here to provide my point of view and perspective to help you swerve around those bumps, rather than hitting them head on, like I did. Today, I have two degrees, and I and earned my Master of Arts in Organizational Management from Ashford University* in 2014. 

As a successful marketing professional, you know the importance of following the marketing process when developing a plan to market a new product or service. These steps include a situational analysis, marketing strategy, campaign development, an execution plan, and campaign measurement. It is during the campaign development phase when important marketing mix decisions are made, and it’s also when you should consider the four Ps of marketing.

Students sometimes ask, “Why do I need to take GEN 499?” During your time at UAGC, you have been developing specific skills related to each of the learning outcomes in various courses, so this course helps test that knowledge.
