The General Education Mobile (GEM) program is designed to help United States Air Force and Space Force service members fulfill their general education (GE) requirements in a mobile, non-traditional classroom format. Completing the GEM program is a key step toward earning your Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree through the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF). GEM can be completed with five online courses at the University of Arizona Global Campus, and if you already have some college experience, the number of courses required may be reduced.

** These courses have live learning (synchronous) sessions where attendance is highly encouraged. These sessions take place in Zoom at designated dates and time. *$250 per credit applies to the Liberty Grant at the undergraduate level. Active duty master's degree students may qualify for a reduced rate of $350 per credit. Patriot Grant recipients receive a reduced tuition rate of $450 per credit at the undergraduate level. The cost per credit at the master's level is $600-$740, and the cost per credit at the doctoral level is $812 for both grants.
