Veterans Day is Monday, November 11, 2024, and businesses throughout the United States are honoring those who have served their country with special discounts, deals, and free meals.

Free Meals
- Applebee's: On November 11, Veterans and active-duty military can enjoy a free meal from a select menu at participating locations. (Dine-in only)
- Bar Louie: Active-duty military and Veterans get a free Craft Burger on November 11 with a valid ID. (Dine-in only)
- Beef 'O' Brady's: Veterans receive a free meal on November 11 at participating locations with the purchase of equal or greater value up to $12.
- Buffalo Wild Wings: Veterans and active-duty service members get a free order of 10 Boneless Wings and Fries on November 11 with valid ID. (Dine-in only)
- Chili's: Veterans and active-duty service members receive a free meal from a select menu on November 11 with proof of service. (Dine-in only)
- Denny's: Veterans and military personnel receive a free Original Grand Slam on November 10 from 5 a.m. to noon. (Dine-in only)
- Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers: Veterans and active-duty military personnel visiting participating locations on November 11 will receive a meal card valid for a free combo meal of their choice. These cards can be redeemed through December 31, 2024.
- Golden Corral: Join Golden Corral for their Military Appreciation Night on November 11 from 5 p.m. to close, where Veterans and active-duty military can enjoy a free "thank you" meal when dining in.
- IHOP: Veterans and active-duty military get free Red, White, and Blueberry Pancakes or Pancake Combo at participating locations on November 11 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Dine-in only)
- Texas Roadhouse: On November 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., active-duty military and Veterans can either dine in or receive a meal voucher at participating locations with a valid military ID. These vouchers are good for dine-in or carry-out at a later time, valid until May 30, 2025.
- White Castle: On November 11, Veterans and active-duty military can enjoy a free individual combo meal or a breakfast combo meal when dining at a participating restaurant.
Dining Deals and Discounts
- BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse: On November 11, Veterans can enjoy a free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie® with any purchase of $9.95 or more.
- California Pizza Kitchen: Veterans and active-duty military members receive a complimentary meal on November 11 and a BOGO offer for a pizza, pasta, or salad redeemable from November 12 to November 21.
- Fazoli's: Veterans and active-duty military receive a free Regular Spaghetti with Meat or Marinara on November 11. (Must present military ID or wear military uniform)
- Little Caesars: Veterans and active-duty military get a free Lunch Combo at participating stores on November 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (In-store only)
- Logan's Roadhouse: Veterans and active-duty military receive a free meal with a valid ID from a special menu on November 11, available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Dine-in only)

- 7-Eleven: Free small Slurpee for all Veterans and active-duty military on November 11.
- Circle K: Free coffee for Veterans and active military on November 11.
- Wawa: Free coffee for Veterans and active-duty military on November 11.
Retail Discounts
- AARP: Special membership offers for $9 per year with a 5-year term or $12 for 1 year.
- Amazon: 20% discount on select items for Veterans Day, no military ID required.
- Kohl’s: Active and former military personnel, Veterans, and their families receive 30% off qualifying in-store purchases from November 10 through 12.
- Target: 10% military discount from October 29 through November 11 to all active-duty military personnel, Veterans, and their families. The discount can be used on two separate transactions and applies to all in-basket items, online and in-store.
- Academy Sports + Outdoors: Active-duty service members and Veterans receive 10% off the entire purchase online or in-store from October 22 to November 12.
- Ashley Furniture: Veterans and active-duty military members receive 10% off any purchase online or at participating stores from October 31 through November 13.
- Great Clips: Veterans and active military service members can get a free haircut on November 11 or a card for a free haircut that can be redeemed during a future visit.
- IKEA: From November 10 through 22, Veterans and active military members with a valid ID get a 15% discount on in-store home furnishings purchases, up to $3,000 (pre-tax).
- Kohl’s: 30% off qualifying in-store purchases from November 10 through 12 for active and former military personnel, Veterans, and their families.
- Office Depot and OfficeMax: From November 11 through 13, Veterans, active duty and retired military personnel, reservists, and their dependents can enjoy a 25% discount on qualifying regular and sale-priced purchases at any store nationwide.
- Publix: Veterans and active-duty military personnel receive a 10% discount on groceries purchased in-store with valid ID on November 11.
- Rite Aid: From November 10 to 12, customers with a valid military ID or proof of service are eligible for 15% off regular-priced items at any location.
- Sport Clips: On November 11, participating locations will provide free haircuts to Veterans and active-duty service members and donate $2 for every paid haircut service provided on that day.
- Vitamin Shoppe: Veterans and active-duty military receive 25% off purchases in-store from November 11 through 13.
- Walgreens: From November 10 through 13, Veterans, active-duty military, and their families receive 20% off regular price eligible store items at any Walgreens or Duane Reade drugstore nationwide.
Parks and Recreation
- Bonus - Free Entry to National Parks: All National Park Service sites are open to the public, with free entry, on Veterans Day. Additionally, you can find a list of Veterans Day travel and recreation discounts at Military.com.
Celebrating Veterans Day
Veterans Day is recognized as a federal holiday, a bank holiday, and, in many states, a state holiday. This designation typically allows federal employees, including military personnel, to have the day off, and it often extends to state workers as well.
