Veterans Day is Saturday, November 11, and to help honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces, businesses nationwide are offering a variety of free items and discounts as a way to say thank you for your service. Here, we highlight some of the top freebies and discounts available to Veterans, plus many offers for active-duty military.

Free Food & Beverages

Bob Evans
Veterans and active-duty military receive one free dinner from a special menu of seven homestyle favorites at local restaurants. Dine-in only.

Buffalo Wild Wings
Veterans and active-duty service members get a free order of 10 Boneless Wings and Fries with valid ID. Only available for dine-in.

California Pizza Kitchen 
Veterans and active-duty military get a free entrée and non-alcoholic beverage from a special menu.

Veterans and active-duty service members get a free meal from a select menu with proof of service. Available for in-restaurant only.

Get a free donut of your choice at participating locations if you are a Veteran or active-duty military. Offer available in-store only.

Golden Corral
Join Golden Corral for Military Appreciation Night on November 13 from 5 p.m. to close and enjoy a free “thank you” meal when dining in.

Veterans and active-duty military are being offered free red, white, and blue pancakes.

Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ 
Veterans and active-duty military receive a complimentary personal sized entree from a select menu.

Peet's Coffee
Active-duty military and Veterans get a free small drip coffee or tea at participating locations with proof of service.

Red Robin
Veterans and active-duty military get a complimentary Red's Big Tavern Burger and endless steak fries with valid ID.

Texas Roadhouse
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., participating Texas Roadhouse locations will give Veterans and active-duty military a meal voucher for dine in or carry out on November 11 or a later date, valid through May 2024. (Check with your local location).


Great Clips 
Veterans and active-duty military can visit a U.S. Great Clips salon to receive either a free haircut that day or a free haircut card to use later. Non-military customers who get a haircut at a Great Clips salon on November 11 will also receive a free haircut card that can be given to a Veteran or active military service member in their life to thank them for their service.

Sports Clips 
Some locations will be offering free haircuts to Veterans and active-duty service members. Visit the Sports Clips website for details and participating locations.

Retail & Services

Goodyear Auto Service
Veterans and active-duty service members get 10% off, which can be combined with all current offers, November 10 through 14. The “Free Car Care for Vets” promotion includes free tire, alignment, brake, fuel system, and fluid checks.

Office Depot and OfficeMax
Veterans, active-duty and retired military personnel, reservists, and their dependents receive 25% off qualifying regular and sale-priced purchases made in stores between November 11 through 13.

Sleep Number
Sleep Number is offering exclusive military discounts – 20% off most Sleep Number 360® smart beds, all bases, and most bedding purchases. This offer is valid through November 13. Exclusions apply.

Target is offering all U.S. active-duty military personnel, Veterans, and their families a 10% discount October 29 through November 11.

Military, Veterans, and their families receive 20% off eligible, regular-price purchases November 10-13.


B&Bs for Vets
Hundreds of inns and B&Bs will honor active-duty military and Veterans for Veterans Day with free stays. Most of the inns are offering one free room night on November 10 or 11, but offers may vary.

National Parks 

All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission.
