[Chandler, AZ, December 11, 2023] – The University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC) has received official recognition from the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services as a Veteran Supportive Campus. The certification, granted under Arizona Revised Statute Section 41-609, signifies the University’s commitment to providing essential support to student veterans, faculty, and staff.

In an official letter dated December 7, 2023, the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services stated that UAGC has met the rigorous requirements outlined by the State of Arizona and is certified for a period of two years as an Arizona Veteran Supportive Campus.

"At UAGC, we are deeply committed to supporting our military-connected students,” said John Aldrich, UAGC senior vice president of Military and Academic Partnerships. “This certification reflects our ongoing dedication to providing a supportive environment that recognizes and addresses the specific needs and strengths of our veterans in higher education."

As a certified Veteran Supportive Campus, UAGC is dedicated to implementing a range of programs, resources, and awareness initiatives tailored to the unique needs of student veterans. This commitment is designed to foster a positive and successful educational experience for those who have served in the military.
