Biography
Holly Heatley is a full-time faculty member in the Division of Foundational Studies at the University of Arizona Global Campus. She earned a Master of Library Science from the University of North Texas in 2010 and holds two degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington: a Master of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
Her past experience includes serving as a research assistant for a Civil War museum and as an academic advisor for a large state university. Drawing on her background in library science, she emphasizes research and information literacy skills along with historical knowledge in her courses.
Holly enjoys getting to know students from diverse backgrounds and locations, saying, “I value the hard work and determination that University of Arizona Global Campus students exhibit even as so many of them balance school with work and family. I particularly appreciate working for such a dynamic institution with so much potential for growth.”
She resides in North Central Texas with her daughter and a full complement of pets.
