Biography

Dr. Connie Lower has had the pleasure of guiding University of Arizona Global Campus students through their various classes for a number of years, focusing on entry-point, general education courses. She feels the online environment that UAGC has created gives her the opportunity to get to know students as well as she would in a university classroom.

Dr. Lower received her B.S. in Education and M.S. in Educational Administration from Illinois State University in Normal, IL. She earned her Superintendency certification at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville and also received her Doctorate in the Instructional Process from that institution.

She has served many years in the public/private education field. Her experiences in education include middle school/high school science instructor, gifted coordinator, principal, superintendent, school board member, and now college professor.  Helping students of all ages learn and grow is her life-long passion.
