Learning Outcomes communicate to students the knowledge, skills, and values expected upon graduation from the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC). They provide the framework from which faculty develop curriculum and facilitate learning in the classroom. Global Campus academic leadership, faculty, instructional designers, and assessment analysts use the clearly defined and measurable outcomes as a structure for evaluating program and course effectiveness. The results of the analyses are used to update and improve curriculum processes, program alignment, course design, course content, and course delivery methods. Alignment is intentional throughout a student’s program of study which provides consistency throughout the student’s educational experience. This section provides a detailed look at how UAGC utilizes various indirect and direct measures to evaluate student learning and affect curricular changes.
