Biography
Dr. William Ballard is a faculty member in the Department of Health Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC). He first joined UAGC in 2020 as an Associate Faculty member. He earned his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Master’s in Health Administration at Florida Atlantic University. He also earned a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Lynn University. His undergraduate work in Physical Education and Health was completed at Morehead State University in Kentucky.
Dr. Ballard’s professional background includes both K-12 and Higher Education. He first began his career as an elementary teacher after receiving his bachelor’s degree in education. Throughout his profession, he was also a Graduate Academic Advisor, Curriculum Specialist, and Senior Instructional Designer. Dr. Ballard has taught and designed online courses for an assortment of universities over the past 15 years, which has allowed him the opportunity to continue his love for both education and health care.
Dr. Ballard resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife and two children.
