Biography
Rebecca Campbell teaches College Reading Strategies and English Composition within the Academic Engagement Center. She has worked in education for over 15 years and has been teaching online for over a decade. Her roles in and out of the classroom have focused on student and faculty success. Her aim is for students to focus on their progression rather than perfection and to develop awareness of their academic skills so they can continuously improve. Long an advocate for continuing adult education, she enjoys the opportunity to provide students with small but important victories to build on for future success. She is a former military dependent and very familiar with the challenges active duty, military spouse, and veteran students can experience. She has been both a traditional and non-traditional student and vividly recalls the challenges and victories of both. Books are her passion. When not focused on her students’ success, she is probably reading.
