Tuition Benefit for Employees of CCEI
ChildCare Education Institute® (CCEI), an online child care training provider dedicated exclusively to the early care and education workforce, has renewed its partnership agreement with the University of Arizona Global Campus and added a new benefit of savings on University of Arizona Global Campus tuition and other educational costs for eligible CCEI employees.
The renewed partnership agreement builds upon CCEI’s articulation agreement with the University of Arizona Global Campus where CCEI employees can transfer their course credits to the University of Arizona Global Campus. CCEI employees graduating from the Child Development Associate (CDA) and CDA-equivalent programs are permitted to transfer eight units of credit to the University of Arizona Global Campus. In addition, CCEI employees completing professional development courses also can transfer training hours to the University of Arizona Global Campus. Under the terms of the the University of Arizona Global Campus transfer credit policy,15 clock hours of completed CCEI professional development coursework translates to one unit of elective credit at the University of Arizona Global Campus.
The University of Arizona Global Campus' online model and flexible class format is ideal for working adults, especially educators and practitioners who may not have time to complete coursework in a location bound classroom setting. The University of Arizona Global Campus offers courses in 5–6-week blocks that allow CCEI employees to study on their own time, maximizing the benefit of their employer sponsored tuition program. CCEI employees who enroll at the University of Arizona Global Campus can transfer up to 90 previously earned college credits, with up to 30 coming from Prior Learning Assessment, helping employees start or get closer to completing their degree. The University of Arizona Global Campus and CCEI‘s partnership benefits for employees also includes tuition savings and other cost reductions.

CCEI online learning offers the convenience of taking coursework from work, home, a library or anywhere internet access is available. It is a great option for students with busy schedules that may prevent them from attending more traditional scheduled in-person training. CCEI online coursework is self-paced, allowing students to take courses any time. Many of our students take courses in the evenings, after their households settle in and on weekends.
