Biography

Kevin entered the United States Army in 1995 and retired as a Command Sergeant Major in December 2023, accumulating over 28 years of active-duty service. His culminating assignment was serving as the Vice Chair for the Department of Force Management at the Sergeants Major Academy Resident Course.

His professional background spans a mixture of strategic, organizational, and direct leadership roles within ill-structured organizations. Kevin’s exceptional journey includes being selected for the prestigious United States Army Fellowship Program, where he earned his Master of Science Degree in Instructional Design, Development, and Evaluation from Syracuse University. Following retirement, Kevin joined Texas A&M University-Central Texas as an Instructional Designer. In this role, he contributed to creating transformative learning experiences using cutting-edge technologies, including the application of technology-enhanced artificial intelligence (AI).

His goals centered around personalizing learning paths, enhancing interactivity, and ensuring ethical AI integration in higher education. Kevin and his wife reside in Kempner, Texas, with their two children and are proud grandparents of two.
