Biography
Rob Engelson has taught at the college and university level for 41 years; he has been with UAGC since 1995, when it was Mount St. Clare College and is currently a member of the Academic Engagement Center teaching GEN 103 Information Literacy and GEN 499 General Education Capstone. He holds the Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) degree from Arizona State University, the Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degree from the University of Minnesota, and the Bachelor of Arts degree from Augsburg College. Prior to joining the AEC, Rob was a member of the Liberal Arts program faculty in the former College of Liberal Arts. He was awarded the university's Distinguished Service Award for his teaching service and his work with the former Ashford University Faculty Senate, which he chaired for two and a half years. He is also an amateur/professional actor, having done 20 shows at the Clinton Area Showboat Theater in Clinton, IA.
