Biography
Dr. Mike Reilly is a professor at the Forbes School of Business and Technology® at the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC) Department of Professional Studies teaching general and strategic management coursework. He was a co-author of a college textbook entitled “The Five Functions of Effective Management” and author/coauthor of many other scholarly and professional journal articles and monographs over the past 35-plus years. He has also served in academic administrative roles across his career including chair, program director, dean of students, and college dean while holding appointments with The Art Institute of California, North Central University, the University of Phoenix, and UAGC. Professor Reilly received the University of Phoenix 2006 “Forward Thinking” award for his numerous operational contributions. He is a member of the Association of Leadership Practitioners, California Association for Institutional Research, and the National Association for Business Economics. He also served as a board member for several not-for-profit enterprises including the San Diego Blood Bank, San Diego County 2-1-1, and the Kearney Mesa Planning Group/City of San Diego Planning Department. Professor Reilly’s current research include aligning management systems, human capital, and culture to achieve organizational strategic objectives. Dr. Reilly holds a BA from Union University, an MA from National University, and a Ph.D. from Walden University.
