Biography
Dr. Gail Hoskyns-Long is the Program Chair for the Bachelor of Arts in Project Management and for the Bachelor of Arts in Supply Chain Management at the Forbes School of Business and Technology® at the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC). She holds a Ph.D. in Organization and Management and a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design for Online Learning from Capella University. She also holds a Master of Arts in Adult Education along with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from Central Michigan University. Dr. Hoskyns-Long is APICS CSCP™ Certified through the Association for Supply Chain Management and a Certified Project Manager (PMP®) through the Project Management Institute. Prior to joining UAGC full-time, she worked within the corporate arena for more than 25 years in automotive design and manufacturing with General Motors and automotive suppliers. She has taught traditional and online courses for the past several years and enjoys incorporating new and different modes of learning and technology into her students’ educational experiences. A favorite quote of hers is by B.B. King: “The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.” Dr. Hoskyns-Long lives north of Detroit, MI with her husband and enjoys boating and listening to audio books.
